ReTreeUS plants orchards in schools, homes and community spaces in order to forward our mission of sustainability and education.
Schools may apply here to receive a free educational orchard. Interested non-profit organizations may contact us here. Families and for-profits who would like to purchase an orchard which will benefit their property and our program may contact us here. Thank you for your interest!
The Investment:
School Orchards (four chosen per year) - $0*
Partnership Orchards (given to one non-profit per year) - $500
Sponsorship Orchards (for-profit businesses and private homes) - $1,000
This is the basic model of the orchards we plant in schools through local fund-raising and grants. The orchard at your school could look different due to the landscape, aims of production at the site, and resources available to our organization at the time of planting.
*Some schools raise support through PTA and our FedCo Seed Sale to help fund additional needs or hopes for their orchard (i.e. the construction of a fence such as the one seen below). The vegetation and constructed materials at every school orchard grow and change each year.
By becoming an Orchard Member, individuals can have orchards planted in their name.

*Our kiosks enable individuals to have self guided education in our orchards. There is lots of information on these kiosks regarding the purpose of growing food locally and the positive effects fruit trees have on the environment. If you are interested in establishing an orchard in a school, home or community space please contact us.
